Acorn Dental offers all of the regular dental services that one would expect from a dental office, and is more than ready to meet your family’s dental needs and address any concerns. Furthermore, there are several things that we believe set us apart.
Caring environment and efficient service: First and foremost, we are a patient-centered practice. We take pride in ensuring that every patient experience at Acorn Dental is a comfortable one. We also know how valuable your time is, so we always do our very best to run on time and to ensure that your appointment is handled as efficiently as possible.
Beautiful location: Acorn Dental is located in a fully restored heritage building. Our office won the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate award for the best renovation in 2010.
We make kids comfortable (adults, too!): Our clinic offers swing-arm televisions and wireless headphones in every operatory. This is a wonderful diversion for fidgety children and adults alike, allowing you to sail through your appointment.
We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas): Nitrous oxide is a safe and easily administered sedative which works very rapidly, offering relaxation and pain-killing properties within minutes without the ‘hangover’ effect that often comes with other sedative techniques. Furthermore, nitrous oxide is safe for children, and often alleviates the need to refer children out for more invasive sedation dentistry.
We offer sedation dentistry: Acorn Dental is proud to offer a range of sedative options to set our patients at ease during routine procedures or oral surgery. These options range from pharmaceutical sedatives in tablet form to IV sedation that puts you ‘to sleep’ for an entire procedure. We are committed to making your every dental procedure in our office as comfortable as possible, and will work with you to ensure that we meet your needs.
We offer digital radiographs (x-rays): Unlike the analog x-rays of yesteryear, the digital technology available at Acorn Dental offers quicker, more accurate images with a significant reduction in radiation and chemical exposure for both patients and staff. This results in more accurate diagnoses and a safer environment for everyone.
